The University Sports Department at FCCU is committed to nurturing a vibrant, inclusive and structured sports culture. Through a variety of athletic and fitness opportunities, the department supports the physical, emotional and social well-being of students, faculty and staff. Sports play an important role in helping students grow physically and mentally. The Sports Department offers a variety of sports activities to support the physical, social and emotional development of students. FCCU has in its possession a very comprehensive Sports program. This Sports program has encompassed both Sports facilities and infrastructure on the campus.
o Cricket, football and handball grounds
o A well-equipped gymnasium
o A 25m short-course swimming pool
o Table Tennis Room
o Basketball, badminton and volleyball courts
o An eight-lane standard 400m grassy track
o Five tennis courts (1 Cemented Court and 4 Grassy Courts)

Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) offers a wide range of outdoor sports facilities designed to support student wellness and athletic development. These include:
o Aneight-lane standard 400-meter grassy athletics track
o Five tennis courts, including:
    • Four grasscourts
    • Onehard court
o Cricket,football, volleyball and handball grounds, used regularly for matches and training sessions

The cricket ground also serves as a multi-purpose field for:
o Rugby
o Track and field events
o Various intramural and inter-collegiate matches

The Table Tennis Facility at FCCU is a fun and engaging space open to all members of the FCCU community. It is free to use and remains open from Monday to Friday except during events in the Lucas Center. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, the facility offers a friendly and relaxed environment to enjoy the game, improve your skills and stay active.

The Basketball Facility at FCCU is an active and welcoming space that encourages fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship. It is open and free for all members of the FCCU community from Monday to Saturday except on event days in the Lucas Center. Whether you want to train, play casually or enjoy competitive games, the facility offers a friendly environment for players of all skill levels.

The Sports Department at FCCU provides locker facilities for student-athletes to safely store their personal belongings while using the sports grounds or gymnasium. Regular maintenance and cleanliness of lockers are encouraged to ensure a safe and organized environment for all. The current registered students can visit sports department in the Lucus Center to apply for this facility.

The sports offered include Athletics, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Bodybuilding, Boxing, Chess, Cricket, Football, Handball, Rugby, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball and Weightlifting.

Open Intramural Sports Tournaments at FCCU are designed to promote broad participation and team spirit across the student body. These competitions are open to all students for inclusive, competitive engagement within the university.

The FCCU Sports Awards are presented to students who meet the established standards set by the Department of Sports and FCCU Administration. These awards recognize excellence in athletic performance, sportsmanship and academic achievement.

Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) offers tuition fee scholarships of up to 50% to highly skilled and competent athletes in various sports disciplines. In addition to it student can avail need based financial aid. These scholarships aim to promote athletic excellence and provide educational support to deserving students.

Yes, FCCU offers tuition fee scholarships based on athletic performance in HEC Intervarsity- level events. Students must meet the eligibility criteria and demonstrate outstanding sports performance at that level.

Eligible students can apply through the Sports Department. Applications are reviewed based on performance in HEC Intervarsity competitions and forwarded to Financial Aid & Scholarship department for review and consideration

o Winnersof BISE (Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education) tournaments will be eligible for consideration.
o Forrenewal, the recipient must win at least one medal in National, Provincial, HEC/ PHED Intervarsity competitions each year.
The student must:
•  Maintaina minimum CGPA of 2.00.
•  Have a clean disciplinary record.
•  Be a regular student (no breaks or extra semesters; valid medical exceptions may apply)
•  Not a departmental player.
