FCCU promotes a culture of understanding risks in a health & safety and fire safety environment. We encourage all managers and staff to engage in assessing and managing all foreseeable risks associated with their activities. This approach not only protects the workforce from harm but protects the University from the risk of prosecution or litigation.
The Office of Occupational Health and Safety was established in November 2018 to advise and assist staff managers, faculty and students across the whole University on Health and safety matter which include but are not limited to the following aspects:
