Pioneered teaching of both Entrepreneurship and Management Control Systems in Pakistan in 1987; authored over 25 business cases in these areas; extensive management consulting experience with top Pakistani groups as well as high growth family firms on a wide variety of control, governance, and strategy issues; research in the management control and family firm development areas has been published in several refereed journals and conference proceedings in Europe and the USA; has been a Board Director at leading Pakistani corporate firms; corporate engineering and business development experience in Fortune 200 firms in the USA from 1979-1987. Institutional level policy development experience as founding faculty of the Graduate School of Business, LUMS.
Research interests: Design and development of Management Control Systems, High growth oriented family firms, professionalization of family firms in a low trust environment.

Ltd.; worked in USA for over a decade in senior technical and management positions; Saindak Copper & Gold Mine development first project in Pakistan; has 4 US patents and several publications to his credit including professional networking in USA, UK, Italy and Germany; has developed innovative projects like Tea Plantation in Kashmir and production of Bio-diesel from Jatropha in Cholistan; has done extensive research on development of the Mining and Mineral sector in Pakistan; leading expert in this area, and much sought after Energy and Management Consultant.
Research interests: Management & Transfer of Technology, Technology Based Development, Commercialization and Application of Research, New Product Development and Project Management.
