On October 10th, 2023 Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) was honored with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Excellence Award in recognition of promoting sustainable development in Pakistan. FCCU has always taken pride in its green campus and the various steps taken towards ensuring a more sustainable environment, such as installing solar panels across the campus. The ceremony took place in the Governor House. The award was presented by His Excellency, Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman, Governor Punjab to Rector FCCU, Dr. Jonathan S. Addleton who received the award on behalf of the university.
