Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) in collaboration with the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) has launched a Joint Scientific Exchange Program (JSEP) and invited joint proposals from HEC-Chartered Universities, public sector, Research Centres, and Institutes. Proposals are solicited in the following priority areas that are aligned with the national strategies of both Pakistan and China:

  1. Computer Science: Internet to things (IoT), Blockchain. Biometrics, Big data, Virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  2. Information and communication (including 5G).
  3. Mechanical Design and manufacturing (including Robotics,3D printing, and Drones).
  4. Macro Governance and Policy.
  5. Climate Change and Mitigation.
  6. Water, Food, and Ecosystem Security.

                                                                                                                               

The call for proposals is open since 14.04.2022 and the deadline for submission is 16.06.2022. The detailed guidelines along with application proforma are available on the PSF website www.psf.gov.pk.
