The Department of English cordially invites you to the 5th session of The Writer’s Lounge: Art of Theatre and the Contemporary Political Context in Pakistan. The speaker Mr. Usman Ali is an international Pakistani writer, playwright, and literary figure in our society. He is the founder of Ali’s Theater and has written many plays such as The Prisoner, The Guilt, The Odyssey, The Breath, The Flute, and The Last Metaphor which are performed and published in Pakistan. In 2014, he received the “Toufeeq Raffat Prize” for drama.
