Student Services Office

Navigating through a University as a new undergraduate student can be challenging at times. The Student Services Office plays a key role in easing students into university life and helping them get around the campus.

The Office conducts orientation of new students and provides academic advising. It helps them familiarize themselves with and access various services and facilities available to them on campus. From admission through graduation, the Student Services Office guides students through their academic or personal challenges.

This Office looks after their welfare and monitors their academic status, progress, and discipline. FCCU has a large, ethnically and religiously diverse student body, and to cater to their social needs, the Student Services Office holds social and cultural activities on campus. It is also responsible for the oversight of student societies. Students are encouraged to seek the assistance of the Student Services Office whenever needed.

The Chief Proctor’s Office also functions under the supervision of the Student Services Office. It is chiefly responsible for maintaining discipline on campus. It has the authority to impose fines for minor offenses and reports more serious offenses to senior management for appropriate action.

Our core functions include:

  • Conducting orientation of new students
  • Familiarizing students with University rules and facilities
  • Holding social and cultural events
  • Oversight of student societies
  • Maintaining discipline on campus
