
Founded in 1864, Forman Christian College (FCC), now a Chartered University, is an institution with a longstanding legacy of commitment to academic excellence and the preparation of leaders who understand the value of service.
The School of Management (SoM) at FCCU was established in 2005 and has since then, gained nationwide repute for the quality and diversity of its programs. These include:
- 4-year BS (Hons) in Business with specializations in Accounting & Finance, Marketing & Sales, Human Resource Management and Operations Management
- Full-time 2-year MBA
- 2-year modular Executive MBA
- Diploma in Business Management

The Executive MBA is a 2-year modular evening program that aims to develop the functional competence & leadership abilities every contemporary manager is expected to have in today’s increasingly global business environment. The program focuses on general management & cross-functional leadership while covering all essential core functional areas. It has been designed for optimal flexibility for working professionals while retaining the rigor of comparable international programs.
The program contains 14 taught modules, each spread over 12 days of classroom interaction, and a second year research project, comprising a total of 66 credit hours. The EMBA credit hours exceed HEC requirements and fulfill all international standards. The program is taught by the highly qualified full-time faculty of the School of Management with regular guest sessions by leading corporate professionals.
Admission Criteria:
- 16 years of education, with degree awarded by an HEC recognized university
- A minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 50% marks (2nd division) in a conventional2-years Masters degree
- Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score of 500 or passing grade in the Forman Management Aptitude Test (FMAT)
- 3 years of work experience
- 2 recommendation letters
- A successful interview with the EMBA Committee
NOTE: Acceptance is based upon the 1) FMAT / GMAT Score, 2) interview and 3) an overall evaluation of the candidate, including: academic achievement, statement of purpose, English language proficiency and work experience.
Provisional admission can be sought by students awaiting final results. Their admission will only be confirmed once they have submitted their complete official Transcript within the due dates.

The SoM MBA is a rigorous two year full-time program with a focus on general management encompassing all core functional areas of business. The program aims to develop highly competent business professionals who aspire to become corporate agents of change through a combination of their creativity, initiative, adaptability and ability to reflect & critique. There is also a strong emphasis on understanding and managing the modern enterprise in the Pakistani environment.
The program comprises a total of 24 courses adding up to 72 credit hours and a mandatory summer internship at the end of year one. The learning experience is highly diverse and incorporates an effective blend of case studies, games & simulations, hands-on projects, e-learning tools, internships & corporate interactions as well as lectures & seminars.
Admission Criteria:
- 16 years of education, with degree awarded by an HEC recognized university
- A minimum of 2.5 CGPA or 60% marks (1st division) in the last awarded degree
- In case of the BA or BS (Hons) degree, 130 credit hours should be completed
- Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score of 500 or passing grade in the Forman Management Aptitude Test (FMAT)
- 2 recommendation letters
- A successful interview with the MBA Committee
