Brief Profile

  • Bano is a recipient of the Fulbright scholarship and has done her Master’s in Sociology from The New School for Social Research in New York. She was a gold medalist in the Undergraduate program of Behavioral Sciences in Fatima Jinnah Women University. She has many years of teaching experience, having taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Punjab University, University of Management and Technology, Quaid-e-Azam University, and Bahria University.
    She has also been a supervisor for undergraduate theses. Her research interests include examining gender and health in urban contexts. Ms. Bano has published some valuable academic papers in international journals including BMC public Health and Culture, Health and Sexuality.
