Ms. Shamail Zehra has been teaching at FCCU for a couple of years and is currently a PhD scholar; she has interest in the field of audience research and performing arts. Prior to her current position, Ms. Zehra has taught as a visiting lecturer at various universities; she also has the experience of working as a Communication and Business Development Coordinator for a magazine. At FCCU, Ms. Zehra has taught several courses including Intro to Communication Studies, Copywriting, and Fundamentals of Research.

Ms. Zehra has been actively engaged in scholarly activities with respected communication forums such as International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR), where she recently presented her research, and Association for Media and Communication Academics and Professionals (AMCAP), where she attended a Doctoral Spring School to hone her research skills. Furthermore, her ongoing doctoral research revolves around visual/graphic communication, with a particular emphasis on the dynamics of political communication.
