Dr. Usman Akhtar is a Registered Pharmacist and has professional and research experience in national and international organizations/institutions. He has been appointed as Research Scholar/Demonstrator at Punjab University College of Pharmacy, University of the Punjab, Lahore after completion of PharmD studies in 2013. He has completed M.Phil (Pharmacy) with three national and international publications from Punjab University College of Pharmacy, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He started his Ph.D. Pharmacy in 2016 at The Rhenish Friedrich Wilhelm University of Bonn, Germany (100th Times World Higher Education ranking). He completed his research work within 3 years and joined “Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center” Lahore as Radio Pharmacist. In Feb. 2020, he successfully defended and obtained Ph.D. degree from The Rhenish Friedrich Wilhelm University of Bonn, Germany and then selected as Assistant Professor in Department of Pharmacy, FCCU, Lahore in October 2020. He has published 8 research/review papers in peer-reviewed indexed journals.
