Dr. Abeeda Qureshi

DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE

Dr. Abeeda Qureshi joined the Department of Political Science at Forman College ( A Chartered University) in August 2020. She did her Ph.D. from the University of Nottingham, the UK in August 2016. Her book based on her Ph.D. thesis titled From Multiculturalism to Integration: The Role of Muslim Women in the Implementation of Ethno-Religious Minority Policies in the UK (2001-2014) had been published by Routledge International in September 2020. She has also published a number of articles in local and international journals.   
 Abeeda completed her M. A in International Relations at the University of Westminster, London and her M.Phil and M.A. in Political Science from the Government College University, Lahore. 
 
Her research interests lie in Religious studies, Electoral politics, Issues of governance and democracy in Pakistan,  Security Studies and Minority Politics. Her research work generally undertakes applied qualitative methods; however, she also has a good understanding of quantitative methods.
