The competition kicked off with a seminar which was held at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University)’s campus in collaboration with the Career Services Office at FCCU, on 25 April 2016. Preceding to the event a whole week was dedicated to enrolling students for their participation in the seminar, and approximately 200 girls enrolled for it.
The team of Career Services Office at FCCU and the Nestle Team was pleased by student participation at the seminar, and on the attendance sheet the number was approximately 135, which indicated a lot of commendable engagement on behalf of our girls at FCCU.
Following the seminar was a quiz based upon the information that was shared by Nestle’s nutritionist at the seminar. The quiz competition was held at FCCU and yet again expressed enthusiasm on part of our students who participated in the fair competition activity. Our girls demonstrated their learning about how to stay healthy as taught by Nestle’s nutritionist and the knowledge accumulated through both the handouts provided to the students by Nestle on paper.
Those who qualified through the quiz were invited at Nestle’s Headquarter, to demonstrate their ideas and learning in a poster competition. Nestle provided the students with an opportunity to further know about how to cook healthy meals for themselves, and as per the feedback received by the girls to made it through to the poster competition it was a fun-filled day which included information sharing about health and worked as a platform for our students to share their promises via”Mera Wada” activity.
FCCU and the Nestle Healthy Women Program Team would like to congratulate:Zoya Khan and Kalsoom Aatzaz for winning the Nestle Healthy Women Competition 2016.
We are proud of all the participants at Nestle Healthy Women Program, as its your participation that made it a success and hope that your learning stays with you to keep you healthy.
