Sarah is a former Lecturer at University of South Asia (USA) and is an external examiner at the University of Management and Technology (UMT). She joined FCCU in March 2016.

Sarah’s expertise is in clinical and therapeutic techniques and she is qualified for psychological assessment, clinical formulation and psychotherapy.

She is deeply passionate about her family and the relationships she has with her peers, mentors and colleagues. She enjoys the reflective process and considers herself a simple person, committed to values and morality and is a lover of art and creativity. She likes to interact with, and listen to people, helping them work through their problems without any discrimination and with an unbiased opinion. Sarah wants to create a community of optimistic, yet realistic individuals and seeks to combine her career and passion by guiding people towards success. When asked why Sarah chose a career in counseling, she speaks about the value and compassion involved in helping people counter the ups and downs that shape who they are. She has learned with time that her greatest reinforcement lies not in the awards or certificates but in the acceptance of her own self with all her strengths and weaknesses, and the self-confidence she tries to foster around herself. She aims to follow up on her weaknesses till they become her strengths, which will then become her gift to all she interacts with.
