Khadija Malik


MPhil (G.C. University, Lahore)

Ms. Khadija has done her BSc Honors in Applied Psychology from Kinnaird College for women. And did her MPhil in counseling from Government College University in 2013.  She joined FCCU as a lecturer in 2015. She maintains healthy interaction with students and is highly devoted to her job. She believes in active learning and helps her students analyze phenomena critically. She likes to integrate activities in her courses that allow students to apply information learned in classes.

She has used both quantitative and qualitative research designs in her research. However, her interest in qualitative research design led her to take several qualitative research methods training workshops to sharpen her research skills.  She has also presented two research papers at 2 International conferences held in Islamabad.

Before joining FCCU she had worked for four years at Beachouse School system (BSS). While working at BSS she had not only taught at different levels but have conducted several training workshops for parents and faculty on different topics like “Effective use of Technology, ‘ICT Integrated Learning’, ‘Learning Through Play’, and Effective Lesson Planning.

She has also worked with children with special needs at the Children's Library Complex Special Children unit. She has also been an internee at the NGO:  Jahandad Community and Service center where she was part of the fundraising program for flood victims and volunteered in data collection for the USAID research project.

Research Interests:

Social, developmental, and consumer psychology.
