Dr Wajid Ali Ranjha is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science. His first Masters was in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, USA and his second Masters was in Social and Political Thought from the University of Sussex UK, where he was a Chevening Scholar. He did his PhD in Politics from the University of Adelaide, Australia; his dissertation was published by the University of Adelaide, as an eBook, titled Critical Theory, Modernity and the question of Post-Colonial identity. Dr Ranjha has also attended numerous conferences worldwide. He taught for several years in Australia and New Zealand before joining FCCU. He welcomes FCCU’s growth as an academic institution, and hopes that the Political Science programs will become increasingly research-oriented in the near future. His areas of interest are philosophy, social theory, and political theory.
