Dr. Rana has over 3 years of teaching and research experience in various institutions in Pakistan & the UK. Ph.D. research work was conducted at the University of Cambridge UK. He has served as Assistant Professor at Lahore University of Management Sciences & Punjab University Lahore Pakistan and as Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge UK. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor at FCCU. He is supervising research in the areas of breast cancer, genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and protein modification.

Research Interests:

Cancer biology, DNA repair & protein modification, cell cycle regulation, and antibiotic resistance.
