Dr. Muhammad Raza Shah has 42 years of experience in the field of Geology and its related subjects like geography, geosphere, and hydrogeology; served in different Government Departments and universities. He has worked in Sarhad Development Authority, FATA Development Corporation, Geological Survey Of Pakistan an attached Department Of Ministry Of Petroleum And Natural Resources, National Centre Of Excellence in Geology, University of Peshawar, FATA Development Authority, and COMSATS Institute Of Information Technology. Abbottabad. He has published several Geological reports, Maps, and Research Papers in different Discipline of Geology and has worked as a pioneer in Ophiolite occurrences in parts of Waziristan and reported for the first time copper, chromite, and gold deposits in this area. Dr. Muhammad Raza Shah is actively engaged in Geological Mapping, Mineral investigation, and Coal Exploration Throughout Pakistan. Discovery of good quality of coal deposits in Chamalang area, district Loralai, Barkhan and Kohlu, Baluchistan. He has participated as a principal investigator titled “paleoenvironments, sedimentology and economic aspects of the paleocene hangu formation in Kohat-Potwar and Hazara area”.
