Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi with support from FCCU, organized a day-long Policy Seminar “Inclusive Education for all: from ideas to action”, on July 03, 2019. The conference discussed three critical thematic areas: 1) addressing socio-economic inequalities for out of school children through second-chance programs for children and adolescents 2) valuing inclusive education and addressing children with disabilities in schools or out of schools; and, 3) exploring synergies to promote equity, quality, and governance in early years’ education. It brought together policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and relevant education and social protection stakeholders to reflect on the capacity of the education systems to meet the needs of all students and jointly embrace a plan for action for expeditious implementation. The conference was attended by education thought and action leaders, policy experts, practitioners, public-School/Special & NFE-Literacy education department officials, Parliamentarians, PEF, private education suppliers, development partners, students, and teachers.
