The Faculty of Humanities, Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), in collaboration with Journalism & Media International Center (JMIC), OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway, organizes a workshop on Climate Journalism Education. The workshop is to be held on June 01, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Media Center, FCCU.
This one-day training will discuss ways of teaching climate journalism and help provide ideas for training journalism students through the collective effort of academicians and journalists who have worked in the field and are aware of the climate crisis. It would be an inclusive workshop on climate journalism education with interested academicians and postgraduate students from all over Pakistan. The aim is to encourage the participants to become changemakers within their institutions and support the efforts to introduce climate journalism education courses for journalism students in Pakistan.
