On 11 October 2021, a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) took place between Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) and Game-Train Private Limited and Foundation for Youth Employment Pakistan (FYEP) hosted by the Career Services and Internships Office at FCCU. The MOU is foreseeably an important step in reinforcing practical steps to benefit the students and alumni of FCCU and to develop avenues for further collaboration.

The agreement highlights the strategic alliance and linkage among the parties to provide professional and technical training to fresh Computer Science graduates in the field of Game Development and to place them in well-reputed partner gaming studios in Pakistan and help to bridge the global skills gap-at speed and scale through training-to-employment boot camps. Game Train, FYEP, and FCCU intend to collaborate on referring and promoting the training-to-employment boot camps by FYEP to its alumni and fresh graduates, for employment opportunities in the ICT sector and other emerging technology training that are in high demand by the employers in the industry.

The meeting was co-chaired by Chief Students Services Officer. Ms Shawna Person; and Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Dr. Ahmad Mahmood Qureshi, and the signatories were CEO-Game-Train, Ms. Masooma Zeeshan; CEO-Generations and Foundation for Youth Employment Pakistan, Mr. Gauher Aftab, and Ms. Shawna.

Other participants from Game-Train were Program Manager – Game Train, Ms. Hamna Ismail and from FCCU, Chairperson Computer Sciences Department, Dr. Aasia Khanum; Associate Professor of Computer Science, Dr. Mubashar Mushtaq; Assistant Professor of Computer Science,  Mr. Zeeshan Malik; Head of Career Services and Internships Office, Ms. Sara Pervaiz Chughtai and Manager Internships, Mr. Adnan Ilyas.
