Faculty of Humanities, Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), invites you to the Peace Journalism Workshop on ‘Surviving the Social Media Onslaught: Mainstream Journalism, Peace, and Democracy in the Transitional Societies’. The workshop is being organized in collaboration with Department of Journalism and Media Studies, Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway.
This workshop is scheduled to be held from 11th to 13th October, from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the E-021, Elahi Building, FCCU. This workshop will focus on analyzing the present situation and seek answers for the immediate and long-term future. It will involve all stakeholders, media, academia, youth, social media experts from Pakistan and the other developed and developing democracies to evolve a useful discourse around the topic mentioned above.
