On Saturday 2nd March 2019, Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) held its Annual Alumni Reunion.

The Chief Guest for the event was Rector FCCU, Dr James Tebbe. The event began with a tribute paid to late Chaudhry Ahmad Saeed, former President Formanite Alumni Association.

In his report about the past year at FCCU, Rector Dr James Tebbe told about the infrastructural developments and academic achievements of the University. Speaking about the planned developments of the future and of the projected new Campus Center, Dr Tebbe said that FCCU will continue to be built and developed for the purpose of educating tomorrow’s leaders. He also mentioned the on campus Light of Hope School that has been marked as model school in Punjab, the IT infrastructure improvements, and the construction of the new guest house as some notable achievements of the past year.  Dr Tebbe also expressed his thanks to the alumni for their participation in the event.

President Alumni Association Mr Shaukat Tarin, expressed his pleasure over the progress FCCU has made after its denationalization and praised its academic development and thanked FCCU Rector Dr. James Tebbe for his tremendous contribution to the institution.

Distinguished Alumni awards were presented to Sultan Dawood Barry, M.S Babar and Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. A special tribute was also paid to FCCU’s senior faculty members who have made a significant difference in the lives of many alumni of the University.

The event was brought to a close by a performance by Mr Ali Sethi who performed an eclectic mix of songs to a packed venue.
