On Thursday 28 March 2019, the FCCU community held a ceremony to commemorate the conferment of the Sitara-e-Imtiaz on FCCU Rector Dr James Tebbe. The event was attended by the FCCU faculty and staff, educators, political figures, community leadership, alumni and donors.

Dr Peter J David FCCU Board of Governors Chairman, Dr Hamid Saeed Registrar, Mme Cheryl Burke Chief Student Services Officer, Dr Saeed Shafqat Director CPPG, Mr Michael D. Guinan Public Affairs Officer, U.S. Consulate General Lahore, spoke at the event to honor Dr Tebbe and his contributions to education in general and FCCU in particular. Students Marium Shahzadi and Jahangir Khan also spoke at the event and expressed their gratitude for Dr Tebbe’s tireless efforts

Dr Tebbe received the Sitara-e-Imtiaz on 23 March 2019 in recognition of his work towards realizing a vision to see FCCU established as a world-class Liberal Arts University, his endeavors to promote inter-faith harmony on campus, as well as to develop the FCCU campus and community.
