FCCU welcomes you to “Soliya” Connect the World Program:
Who can attend? Formanites (Current Undergraduate students only)
Duration: 8 sessions from Oct 14 to Dec 6, 2019
Time for the session: any two hours from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm once a week.
Venue for the sessions: FCCU Computer Lab (S-Block)
Certificate will be awarded by Vice Rector/Rector Office.
Limited seats are available. (15) First come first served.

It will help to:
- establish a deeper understanding of the perspective of others,
- develop the skills such as critical thinking, cross-cultural communication and collaborative problem solving,
- enrich your CV
Connect Global is an 8-week program in which participants explore key global issues with fellow group members through a series of guided discussions.
How Connect Global Works:
Each student is placed in a different online group with approximately ten other students from the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. Students will login each week for their two-hour group sessions over an eight week period, and each group is led by 2 Soliya-trained facilitators who guide the discussions and the dialogue process.
Frequently discussed topics include: Family: Culture/ Traditions: Role of Women & Men in Society: Stereotypes (youth empowerment vision for the future, and brainstorm together on how youth can make a difference )

Due date to apply for Soliya Program: Sep 18, 2019 (submit application to underside) Facilitator will send the applicants names to Soliya: evening Sep 18, 2019
Registration with Soliya:
Deadline for Student Registration online: Sep 23, 2019. (Link will be provided to applicants/students). Student should complete online registration process through provided link by Sep 23 otherwise they will not be able to participate in the program.
Schedule for Online Sessions will be sent to students:
Oct 9, 2019: Student will receive schedules through their emails.
Students may request to change their schedule within 24 hours after receiving the email.
Preparatory Class before start of the sessions:
Oct 7 & 14, 2019 one hour at 1:00PM in N-207 (mandatory to attend)
Venue & Online Session will start from Oct. 14, 2019 in FCCU Computer Lab (S-block)
