Marginalized Populations

Marginalized populations are groups and communities that experience discrimination and exclusion due to unequal power relationships across economic, educational, health, political, and other socio-cultural dimensions. This one-day online symposium will present different dimensions of challenges facing marginalized populations of Pakistan and also highlight valuable insights and recommendations for reform. The presenters will include the Department of Sociology faculty who are working in diverse areas to highlight the plight of marginalized groups in the country.
