A passionate professional with over 26-years of outstanding track record and experience of General Management, Brand Building, Marketing, Communication, Advertising (offline & online), Business Development/Management with demonstrable record of delivering phenomenal profits, sustainable business growth and successfully launching new business/services/brands across categories, industries and business lines.
He has a versatile experience of working in all three markets of Pakistan i.e., Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad in the marketing industry and abroad, Asad comes loaded with an experience of handling brands, products and services for national, multinational and government organizations. He has worked with all top names of the country from JWT to McCann to Interflow to Adcom to Red to Paragon. He has handled brands like Unilever (LUX, Sunsilk, RIN, Knorr, Rafhan), Shell, Nokia, Telenor, HBL, Cadbury, Mobilink, Johnson & Johnson, Shan Foods, Coca-Cola, PEL, Cybernet, Mitchell’s, Haleeb, Nestle’ (Everyday, Maggi & Nescafe), PepsiCo (Pepsi, Aquafina & Slice), Honda Cars, Faysal Bank, MCB, Pakistan Tobacco to name a few.
Mr. Asad has a diversified educational background with double degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration along with a certification in Sports Marketing. Currently, working at OLX Pakistan as Director Marketing and working towards adding value to the digital Pakistani consumers.
Mr. Asad has been a sportsman all his life with Lawn Tennis and Cricket as his favourite sports. He has played Tennis at the national level. He is a professional photographer, a film maker and extensively travels domestically and internationally.
