Dear Graduating Student,

The Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) Commencement ceremony registration for Post-graduate and Baccalaureate Students is open. To attend the ceremony please check your emails (if not received check junk/spam folder) and complete the registration process.

Once the form is completed, you will be sent a confirmation email that you have registered for the Commencement ceremony. Kindly go through the important instructions written in email.

Deadline to register for the Commencement ceremony is Saturday, November 05, 2022, 11:55 P.M.

NOTE: Please note you will not be allowed to change any guest information after the deadline.

Important Instructions and Information:

• Only registered graduates will be allowed to attend commencement ceremony and only their personalized graduation slide will be displayed.
• Graduates must attend rehearsal to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.
• Children below 10 years of age are not allowed; those above 10 years are treated as a guest.
• Due to security reasons, participants are not permitted to bring any weapons, digital diaries, electronic equipment, brief cases or boxes to the Commencement ceremony.

Survey:

• Please fill the Graduating Student Survey by clicking the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PJV3VHG  (ignore if already filled).
• Successful completion of this survey latest by Sunday, November 06, 2022, 11:55 P.M. would give you Rs. 500 waiver on Commencement registration fee.

 Payment Information:

• Commencement Fee will be charged on the student’s EMPOWER account, as per the information provided by student in the Marching Order Form. Fee charges are as follows:
  • Commencement Fee is Rupees Five Thousand (Rs. 5,000/-)
• Mode of Payment:
  • Cash over Counter through Tuition Fee Bank Challan.
  • Online Payment through Internet Banking / Mobile Apps
• Please mention the following when making payments through above channels:
  • Name
  • Roll number
  • Phone number
• Send Email, in case the fee payment has not been updated on your EMPOWER account within one working day from the date of payment, send a scanned copy of the paid fee challan or a screenshot of the digital payment to fccfeechallans@fccollege.edu.pk
• Only timely payments as per commencement SOPs shall be entertained.

Guest Information:

• Only registered guest(s) are allowed.
• Every registered graduate is allowed to bring two guests gratis (free), provided their details are entered in registration form.
• If you are bringing more than two guests, then for every extra guest you have to submit Rs. 2,000/- in FC College branch of Habib Bank following the same process mentioned above.
• Guest(s) must come with graduates and carry their original CNIC/B-Form/Passport and guest pass.
• No change in guests will be made after Commencement registration deadline.

Rehearsal:

• Rehearsal for commencement will be on Friday, 25th November 2022, 3:00 P.M in the Sinclair Hall, and is mandatory to attend for collecting your commencement registration and guest card.

Academic Gowns:

• The fee for the gown is Rs 3,000/-. You will get Rs 2,500/- when you return the gown. Do not deposit the fee in Bank. You will pay the vendor directly, in cash. You may collect the gowns from in front of Sinclair Hall. The gowns will be available from:
  • November 21st – 24th (3pm – 6pm)
  • November 25th (3pm – 7pm)
  • November 26th (2pm till one hour after the ceremony)

Commencement:

• Saturday, 26th November 2022, 3:00 P.M., FCCU Main Ground.
• Graduates and guest(s) must arrive early for security clearances and be seated by 2:30 P.M. After 3:00 P.M entry may be halted in the venue (FCCU Main Ground).
• Keep visiting FCCU website for updates.
