The Department of Computer Science in collaboration with ORIC organized the Computer Science Senior Project Exhibition (COMSPEX) for senior projects on Tuesday, 14th February 2023. The best project award with a cash prize of Rs 10,000 was awarded to “Electric Ledger” conducted by Mr. Muhammad Tayyab, Mr. Muzafar Arshad and Mr. Chand Saleem under the supervision of Ms. Samia Asloob. Department of Environmental Sciences Organizes Seminar on Climate Change and Urban Flood Water Management

The Department of Environmental Sciences organised a Seminar on “Climate Change and Urban Flood Water Management” on January 24th, 2023, at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Lahore.  The guest speakers were Mr. Sohail  Ali Naqvi (Director Freshwater Program, WWF-Pakistan), and Dr. Muhammad Imran Azam (Manager of Community Water Stewardships, Freshwater Program, WWF-Pakistan). The purpose of this seminar was to raise awareness among the community and students on the vulnerability of Pakistan towards Climate Change and its Catastrophic Impacts, especially on Cities and Urban Water Resources, and discussion on meaningful solutions to reduce impacts in terms of urban flooding and urban water resources management.

On February 22-23, 2023, the Faculty Advising Office at Forman Christian College University (FCCU) organized its 10th Annual Advising Fair on the football ground. The event was a huge success, with all academic departments, including AAC Degree Audit Corner, Career Services, and International Education Offices, setting up stalls to facilitate and guide visiting students.Seniors, juniors, freshmen, and sophomores attended the event on both days to get information about their respective majors, career paths, and to get their degrees audited. FCCU’s Cricket Team Starts H.E.C. Intervarsity Cricket Championship with a Win

Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) Cricket team has started off their H.E.C. Intervarsity Cricket Championship 2022-23 campaign with a win. The team emerged victorious in their opening match against Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on February 21, 2023, at the University of the Punjab. In a thrilling encounter, LUMS batted first and managed to put 221/10 on the scoreboard in 39.1 overs.
