A Poster and Project Exhibition was arranged by the Department of Computer Science on Thursday January 03, 2019. It was one of the outcomes of two semesters of students’ work on Senior Projects of computer science and a regular event of each semester.

The primary aim of this, open for all, exhibition was to showcase the projects of students of BS (Hons) Computer Sciences. To promote a culture of research and innovation among all undergraduates was another major objective of the exhibition. In the exhibition on a variety of computer sciences topics, fifteen posters were presented which were designed by the students under technical guidance of their project advisors and the guidelines given by the Committee for Senior Projects, Department of Computer Science. The visitors, including the Rector, Dr James Tebbe, Deans, Chairpersons, faculty members, students, university staff, alumni and guests from outside the University, took keen interest in the exhibits and demonstrations by the presenters.

At the end of the exhibition, the best poster award was announced for the encouragement and inspiration of current and potential senior project students. This award was based upon technical opinion of the departmental evaluation committee and visitors.
