Over 14 years of teaching and research experience; member faculty of Biological Sciences at FCCU since August 2005; served as Teaching Assistant at CEMB, PU, Lahore, Post Doctoral Fellow at CEMB, PU, Lahore, Assistant Professor at FCCU; supervised research in the areas of tissue culture, plant transformation, bioavailability, enhancement in fertilizer use efficiency, molecular diagnostics of food borne pathogens, metagenomics of microbiome, diabetes mellitus.

Research interests: Plant Molecular Biology, Stress Tolerance, Genomics, plant nutrition
