DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACY

An inquisitive and detail-oriented professional, securing Pharm D from Punjab University and Masters in pharmaceutics from UCP, with research revolving around nanotechnology. Ms. Bajwa is currently working as a lecturer in department of pharmacy, Forman Christian College University, Lahore. She also holds certifications in pertinent subjects from renowned institutes like Johns Hopkins University, Rochester Institute of Technology, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and Mohammed Bin Rashid University.

She has served as a lecturer for four years while apart from academia her expertise lies in manufacturing in Pharmaceutical Industry. She has served as a QA Executive, rendering services for QMS compliance and GMP certification. Her work area entails In House Audits, APQR management, Validation Control, and Supervising Regulatory Investigations. Her quality of work is reflective of her field training in relevant departments and all manufacturing units including parenteral.

She also holds the privilege of having trained at Children Hospital (Clinical Pharmacy), Fazal Din Pharmacy (Dispensing and Retail Pharmacy), High noon, and Schazoo Pharmaceuticals (Industrial Pharmacy) with additional training in emergency care under Rescue 1122 Department.

In terms of prime research, she has explored polymeric materials of natural and synthetic origin, rendering them at nanoscale for ophthalmic gel preparation, improving and augmenting the on-site drug delivery, and alleviating the trouble of frequent administration.

She currently holds 20 plus publications in the national and international journal, serving as a reviewer to more than 4 International Journals. Her body of work comprehends her work in pharmaceutic, hand in hand with other pharmacy disciplines reeling off an interdisciplinary approach. She has presented talks, posters and published abstracts on various national and international platforms.

She holds prestigious membership as a Member of The Chemical Society of Pakistan, Biochemical Society of Pakistan, and Young Researcher Pakistan. She has been trained on the Active Citizenship Program and journalism with British Council.
