The Office of the Director Career Services at FC College organized a “Job & Career Expo 2010” in the main ground adjacent to the Elahi Building. The event was held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and was primarily for Senior and Junior students. About 43 companies and organizations set up their stalls and facilitated the students regarding their future prospects in their respective fields. A large number of students participated in the activity and gained ainformation on how to pursue their desired careers. Most of the faculty members were present. The Rector also visited the stalls and appreciated the interest of the students and the event organizers.
Yes, It was really a great opportunity for the seniors and juniors to get job opportunity and internships.It help the students to get the market knowledge about their degree. Students also get chance to know about the job objective ,requirement and awareness before completing their degree.In this season there were many new top ranked industries of Pakistan which were really interested to hire the students.Each and everything were organized very well.The Representatives of different companies were also very excited after meeting with the students of the College. One positive aspect of such events is that they help admin to promote their institution and to built healthy relationship between the institution and industry.I hope FCCU will continue to achieve such milestones.
