The Department of Statistics at the Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) Lahore is
seeking applications for full time Assistant professor position. Faculty member will be required to
teach the relevant courses as well as take part in departmental activities/tasks, or fulfill
responsibilities assigned by the Department Chair or University.
Qualification:
As per HEC Criteria we seek a candidate with PhD in Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine
Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, High Dimensional Statistics with strong
background in Statistics.
Expectations:
– An ideal candidate should have expertise in R or Python.
– Command and experience in teaching to undergraduate and graduate levels, using a variety of
teaching-learning methodologies.
– Willingness to contribute towards community service, university/departmental activities, and share
research experiences with students
– Commitment to support the mission of the University
– Candidates must have demonstrable research experience in their field
– A proven track-record of research productivity.
– High level of spoken and written English proficiency.
– Ability to maintain collegiality and professionalism.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, teaching skills, research, and experience.
