PSF funded project: Phytochemical and biotechnology study on chemical constituents of Lagenaria siceraria.
HEC funded project: Activity-guided isolation of bioactive compounds from medicinal plant Carissa opaca.
College funded projects: His research group is working on a number of college funded small projects involving MPhil and BS students.

Dr Christy Munir
Professor Emeritus of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry
PhD (Wayne State University, USA)
Taught at Quaid-i-Azam University (1974 -2001) where he supervised PhD, MPhil and MSc students; directed various government-sponsored research projects; member of American Chemical Society; life member of Pakistan Chemical Society; published over 50 research articles in national and international journals.
Research Interests: Coordination chemistry, medicinal compounds.
