The Department of Humanities encompasses the disciplines of English, Mass Communication, Religious Studies, and Urdu at Forman Christian College. In general, the humanities are the academic disciplines concerned with the human condition; these disciplines use methods that are largely analytical, critical, or speculative in conducting their academic activities. Usually, the humanities include ancient and modern languages and literature, history, philosophy, religion, visual and performing arts (including music).
