Mr I.A. Rehman, senior journalist and currently Secretary General of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, will speak at a seminar “Reflections on the Changing Role and Dynamics of Media in Pakistan” organized by FCC’s Centre for Public Policy and Governance (CPPG). The seminar will be held on Wednesday 13 October 2010 in Room E-002, and will start at 4:30 pm.
Mr Rehman writes a weekly column in Dawn and is also a founding member of the Pakistan-India Peoples’ Forum for Peace and Democracy. He is a leading human rights activist, a prominent art critic, a former Chief Editor of The Pakistan Times and recipient in 2004 of the the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Peace and International Understanding.
