What a great news about my old college. I am a 79 years old Formanite, went back into the memory lane remembering the youthful good old days of 1948-1950.
The charming friendly faces of principal Dr Rice, Physic professor Thoburn and chemistry prof Benaud, Dean prof Sinclair with a stiff face. Dr Yawaer Hussain Zaidi , director of Jinnah Archives who died last year in Lahore . I used to have lunch at Kennedy Hall dining room. what else!. Many more old anecdotes.I leave ithem for another ocassion.
In 1990′s, my young nephew took me around the college and I was saddened to see the wilted plants & bushes, overgrown lawns, blocks with peeled off paint. Jamaat-e-Islami supporters rampaging, shouting anti American slogans. I came back with wet eys. Now after gleaning FCC website I see a bright light at the end of the tunnel.

Hope to attend the annual Get Together in 2011 on my next visit to Pakistan.

I am an old formanite and got a news feed on facebook about old ravians reunion. This shot made me check the same on fcc sebsite & I got shocked on knowing that I have just missed the old formanites gathering. I would request you to kindly make a database of all old formanites by sending letter though mail asking them for their contact details.

I did my FSc from FC College Lahore in 2009 and I am a member of FC College Alumni union. My membership number is FAA 8053. I got myself registered for the Alumni dinner 2010 and my ticket number is 00705. I was very excited today to attend the event. But I was stopped by the Registrar to enter the refreshment area while all my class mates were allowed to go. The registrar said that according to him I was not the right person to whom the invitation card was issued. I showed the invitation card, ticket and my ID card of Punjab University, where I am studying these days, to the registrar but he refused. I had to come back home without even saying my friends bye. Now I am wondering whether or not I will be allowed to attend the dinner tomorrow? Please guide. Proud Formanite, Qazi Salman Ahmed.
