Dress Code (University)

The purpose of the FC College dress code is to ensure that our students are dressed in a graceful manner. This means that the clothing worn will be clean, neat, modest and reflective of the culture in which we are operating.

The dress code is to be worn by all University students in the academic areas of campus during academic hours (Mon – Fri  8 am – 4 pm).

The following applies to all clothing worn by men or women on campus:

  • FC College ID cards must be visibly displayed at all times on campus
  • Clothes should be clean and pressed
  • Clothes should not be see through
  • No tight clothing
  • No holes or torn/frayed areas
  • No offensive or obscene writing on clothes
  • No sleeveless shirts

Men

  • Shirt – with collar
  • Pants – long (no low riders)
  • Ties – optional
  • Shoes – should be clean and well cared for (no chappals)
  • Shalwar Kameez may be worn on Friday. NO shawls/chadar may be worn

Women

  • Shirt – must be knee length or longer
  • Shalwar or pants of any type – should cover ankles
  • Dupatta or Shawl
  • Scarf can be worn in winter with a sweater or jacket
  • Shoes – should be clean and well cared for
