Requirements for Major
A minimum of 36 credit hours including the following courses
SOCL 100: Introduction to Sociology (3 credits)
SOCL 201: Sociological Research (3 credits)
SOCL 301: Theoretical Perspectives in Sociology (3 credits)
SOCL 499: Final Year Independent Research Project (3 credits)
STAT 103: Quantitative Methods in Social Sciences (3 credits)
and at least 4 courses at the 300/400 level.
Requirements for Minor
A minimum of 18 credit hours including the following courses
SOCL 100: Introduction to Sociology (3 credits)
SOCL 201: Sociological Research (3 credits)
and at least 2 courses at the 300/400 level.
