Main Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and smooth running of different modules of Accounting Software MIP and Empower
  • Input annual budget and prepare timely and accurate report of it

  • Ensure timely settlement and reporting of payable, receivable on monthly basis
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording, settlement and reporting of accruals and prepayments.

Forman Christian College (Intermediate Section) has openings for the position of Demonstrator who will work in partnership with the science instructors in providing effective learning outcomes for the students of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Demonstrators must have effective communication skills and must have the ability to relate well to both students and faculty. These individuals should have the capacity to take on responsibility and work independently and should possess a very high level of organizational skills. They will report directly to the respective Department Chairperson.

Job Duties:

Employees in this job under general direction and instruction are expected to perform responsible tasks associated with the efficient operation of the science laboratory. The individuals are expected to:

  • ensure that safe practices and procedures are maintained 
  • conduct regular physical checks on science lab equipment to ensure that the equipment is in working order 
  • administer emergency first aid to students 
  • monitor the science area for hazardous conditions, unsafe practices and other safety concerns 
  • ensure compliance with international regulations with regard to labeling, handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials 
  • monitor and assist students working in a higher secondary science lab setting 
  • inventory and maintain supplies and science lab equipment 
  • use science related computer software 
  • assist teachers in planning classroom science activities 
  • mark student work 
  • set up experiments in the lab according to the schedule for the week 
  • prepare a list of items for purchase and process the same in a timely manner 
  • supervise support staff in the maintenance and cleanliness of lab equipment, apparatus and glassware 
  • liaise with science faculty on their needs for practical work and maintain an efficient system for use and allocation of materials and equipment, setting  a priority system where necessary 
  • assist science faculty with demonstrations 
  • assist science faculty in instructing students on use/care of equipment

He/she shall be responsible for administering all financial assistance programs that are available to students of the University. He / she shall work with the Chief Fiscal Officer to make recommendations concerning recipients of students’ financial assistance. He/she shall be responsible for administering the programs in accordance with policies and budget of the College as well as for counseling students and their families regarding planning to meet College and University expenses.   • To be thoroughly familiar with all types of student aid available to students, including scholarships, fee concessions, grants-in-aid, and student employment.
  • To administer and coordinate all financial assistance programs available to the College students, including Higher Education Commission (HEC) programs and programs funded by other donors.
  • To inform students of opportunities for their financial assistance and to prepare and distribute materials describing available aid programs.
  • To process financial aid/fee concession applications.
  • To make awards of the funds in accordance with the guidelines approved by the Rector, and where applicable, the donors of the funds, including HEC and department of education (Punjab or Federal).
  • To keep all records necessary for the effective administration of the financial assistance program.
  • To notify students of actions taken on applications for financial assistance.
  • To handle correspondence regarding financial assistance.
  • To develop, review and revise, if necessary, office procedures necessary for efficient financial assistance administration.
  • To prepare reports requested by the CFO or by HEC or appropriate government agencies.
  • To make recommendations concerning policy for the administration of financial assistance to the CFO.
  • To estimate the financial needs of future students and to initiate and prepare recommendations for the College’s scholarship budget, and where appropriate, applications to secure funds adequate to meet these needs.
  • To counsel students on the matter of their financial problems.
  • To educate parents to ways of financing a College or University education for their children.
  • To be responsible for student employment such as making job assignments, subject to the approval of the job supervisor, for positions included in the student work program.
  • To perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the CFO.
