Additional responsibilities of the Fee Recovery Officer include:

  • Making telephone calls and sending personalized letters to students which involves dealing regarding fee payment/recovery
  •  Keeping track of all installment plans and preparing relevant payment status lists and communication of the same with students and departments
  •  Preparing program wise report of the defaulters, recovery and expected recoveries
  •  Dealing with wide range of correspondence ensuring that students receive proper notices and reminders of their pending payments and installment due dates where by Updating and maintaining notices campus wide, on website, flexes, sending letters and SMS
  • Sending out the fee payment challans to the students by extracting the same from the software

  • Coordination of all student information with the Admission department/Academics to ensure accuracy of student record and information in the system

Duties of the Position:

  3. Once notes are approved by Coordinator, distribute them to persons involved.

  • prepare a list of items for purchase and process the same in a timely manner 
  • supervise support staff in the maintenance and cleanliness of lab equipment, apparatus and glassware

Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) seeks an individual for the position of Director Financial Aid. He/she shall be responsible for administering all financial assistance programs that are available to students of the University. He / she shall work with the Chief Fiscal Officer to make recommendations concerning recipients of students’ financial assistance. He/she shall be responsible for administering the programs in accordance with policies and budget of the College as well as for counseling students and their families regarding planning to meet College and University expenses. The primary duties of Director Financial Aid shall be as follows:

  • To be thoroughly familiar with all types of student aid available to students, including scholarships, fee concessions, grants-in-aid, and student employment.
  • To administer and coordinate all financial assistance programs available to the College students, including Higher Education Commission (HEC) programs and programs funded by other donors.
  • To inform students of opportunities for their financial assistance and to prepare and distribute materials describing available aid programs.
  • To process financial aid/fee concession applications.
  • To make awards of the funds in accordance with the guidelines approved by the Rector, and where applicable, the donors of the funds, including HEC and department of education (Punjab or Federal).
  • To keep all records necessary for the effective administration of the financial assistance program.
  • To notify students of actions taken on applications for financial assistance.
  • To handle correspondence regarding financial assistance.
  • To develop, review and revise, if necessary, office procedures necessary for efficient financial assistance administration.
  • To prepare reports requested by the CFO or by HEC or appropriate government agencies.
  • To make recommendations concerning policy for the administration of financial assistance to the CFO.
  • To estimate the financial needs of future students and to initiate and prepare recommendations for the College’s scholarship budget, and where appropriate, applications to secure funds adequate to meet these needs.
  • To counsel students on the matter of their financial problems.
  • To educate parents to ways of financing a College or University education for their children.
  • To be responsible for student employment such as making job assignments, subject to the approval of the job supervisor, for positions included in the student work program.
  • To perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the CFO.
