Plot Number Two is an online literary journal run by the students of Ashoka University, a small, bustling liberal arts college on the outskirts of New Delhi, India. The journal was born out of a collective desire to build a platform for undergraduate writers to publish pieces of prose—fiction and nonfiction—and poetry that interact with the realities born of diverse languages, geographies, and experiences.
This summer, Plot Number Two brings a short story competition in collaboration with Juggernaut Books, India’s leading digital publishing house The brainchild of senior editors from the household name of Penguin Random House India, Juggernaut Books is a disruptor in the conventional publishing industry, and aims to turn the page to a new digital chapter in the future of reading.
The competition – “Express” – is an exciting opportunity for aspiring fiction writers aged 17-25 years to showcase their work and win a digital publishing contract with Juggernaut Books! Guidelines and prompts for the competition can be found on their website and social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook). They are now open to submissions and are accepting entries until 31st July 2018.
